I'm Marci Lopez, and I started Lopez's Sweet Spot over 10 years ago right here in Austin, Texas. What began as baking for my kids' school events and neighbors on the block slowly became something I couldn't stop doing. When people kept asking "where can I buy these?", I knew it was time to open a real shop.
Everything we make is from scratch — no shortcuts, no mixes, no freezer shortcuts. My recipes come from my grandmother's handwritten notebooks, updated just enough to keep things fresh and exciting. Our cinnamon rolls follow the same method she used every Sunday morning, and that's never going to change.
Lopez's Sweet Spot is a family operation. My husband and two kids help out every morning before school and every weekend. We treat every customer like a neighbor because in many cases, you are our neighbors. Austin has given us so much, and we put every bit of that love back into our baking.
